For everyone's safety and well being, we say up front:
Scouts whose actions are consistently in violation with these rules or whose behavior represents a real danger to
themselves or others will have their parents called to come and get them - regardless of the time of day.

Pushing,
shoving, hitting, and other similar activities will not be tolerated at any
Troop activity.
All medicine
must be turned in to the Scoutmaster along with written instructions for
taking the medicine. Scouts should not have personal medicine or drugs in their possession without specific approval of the Scoutmaster and the Scout's parents.
Campout money, including any special fees, must be paid in advance of the campout and is non- refundable. Scouts who do not follow this will not be allowed to go.
All injuries must be reported to an adult immediately.
Radios, tape players, personnel CD players, video games, and all other electronic devices are prohibited on all Troop activities.
Bare feet are prohibited except in waterfront areas while swimming. Sandals and open toed shoes are allowed only for aquatic activities.
No camouflage clothing on any Troop activity.
The Class A uniform shirt is required during travel.
Personal folding knives or leatherman type tools (with blade 4" or less) are permitted as long as Scout has Totin Chip on his person.
Sheathed knives are not permitted. Personal hatchets, saws, and axes are not permitted.
Weapons are prohibited at all times. This includes nunchakus, swing blade knives, etc.
Hatchets, axes, and saws may be used only in the ax yard. The Scout must hang his Totin' Chip at the entrance to the ax yard. Only one Scout is allowed in the ax yard at a time.
Scouts must replace or repair any damaged equipment.
Sodas are limited to a maximum of 2 - 12 ounce cans for the duration of any Troop activity. During summer camp, there is no limit.
Fireworks, flammable liquids or ignitable solids (examples include lighter fluid or rocket motors) are forbidden.
Scouts are prohibited from riding on the outside of any motor vehicle, including the beds of pickups and in trailers.
Scouts should bring their Boy Scout Handbook on each campout. It should be protected with a plastic bag or waterproof container.
Running is prohibited in the campsite - day or night.
Scouts must have a Fireman's Chit with them in order to light stoves and lanterns.
All cooking and Patrol equipment must be clean and maintained in proper condition. The Patrol Leader is responsible for assigning to different Scouts equipment that needs to be carried home for cleaning.
Each patrol is responsible for keeping their patrol site neat, clean, and organized. The campsite will be left as clean, or cleaner, than it was found.
Scouts must not enter another person's tent without that person's permission.
Light's out at camp means all talking and noise stops.
Scouts of one patrol are not permitted entry to another patrol or troop's campsite without that group's permission.
Scouts (under the age of 18) may NOT drive to Scouting events such as campouts. |
