B-B-Q Chicken
(Use 12 “ seasoned Dutch Oven w/ legs)

 

 

Ingredients for shopping list:
 

2 lbs. chicken strips (feeds about 6-8)

1 12-ounce can Coca Cola (no substitutes)

1 bottle of your favorite BBQ sauce
1 medium onion - chopped
Salt, pepper, garlic to taste

20 light n go charcoal briquettes

 

How To:

Light briquettes, and wait until they begin to turn “white”.

At the same time, grease Dutch oven or line with heavy aluminum foil (sprayed with PAM).

In the Dutch oven, put the chopped onions on the bottom.

Then, add in the chicken, salt, pepper and garlic.  Pour on entire bottle of BBQ sauce, and then slowly pour the Coke onto the mix.  Stir it all together.

Cover the Dutch oven with lid.  Put 10 briquettes underneath and 10 on top.

Cook for about 50 minutes.

Remove from heat.  Let stand about 5 minutes.
